Celebrating Character & Championing Success of All Children

Projects to Thrive

Define your 'Why' - Showcase your Skill - Thrive

Projects to Thrive gives all learners, from primary school through to college and beyond, the opportunity to showcase their creativity, curiosity, and digital skills through engaging, project-based learning.
Whether a project is completed, independently, in small groups of three, as part of a whole school/year group delivery or gradually across the year during form time.
Projects to Thrive is designed to be flexible, inclusive, and accessible.

No 'One Size Fits All' Approach to Learning

At the heart of Projects to Thrive is a simple belief: there is no one-size-fits-all approach to creativity or learning
Children have different interests, hobbies, strengths and ideas about the problems they want to solve in the world.

That’s why students are encouraged to demonstrate agency, choose a project that excites them, and bring their own ideas to life.

Build your Project to Thrive

No matter which project learners choose, they all follow the same clear framework:
the Project Builder Toolkit.

This toolkit provides structure without limiting creativity and is supported by a series of scaffolded videos. Projects can be completed in a single day, over several weeks, independently or guided by adult support. This makes it perfect for learners in school or home learners.

Once learners understand the framework, they are encouraged to work with increasing independence.

The 8 Stages of the Project Builder Toolkit

Explore the image below to see the main stages of the Project Builder Toolkit. Each stage of the toolkit includes an optional worksheet, clear success criteria and video message from Baasit Siddiqui, explaining how developing skills across each stage will help them in future projects in and out of education.

Share your Project to Thrive

Each learner is encouraged to share their Project to Thrive with Baasit and the Let’s Thrive team. Whether it’s a group of learners in a school or college, or whether its a home schooled learner, every one is able to share their idea and be celebrated for their efforts. Below are some examples of the Projects to Thrive Project success criteria.

Not every task is expected to be completed by every student. We aim to be flexible and therefore inclusive of the school and students circumstance.

Inclusive by Design

Every learner, every child and every education setting is different. The success criteria for the Project to Thrive submissions is purposefully broad. This is so that cost, time, ability and technology will not be a barrier to children gaining value and enjoyment from the Projects to Thrive programme.
